Grumpy

Another happy dance for this year. I'll be looking into how I'm going to finish this tomorrow. Need to contact a friend of mine and see if they want it. Personally, I'm headed towards a pillow. And wouldn't you know it...while at Walmart today I picked up what I thought was evenweave and turned to DH when I noticed it was a pillow sham, with this design on the front with two others. I could've saved myself alot of trouble if I'd known about those. Oh well.
No update on Guard This Keep though I have gotten alot done on it. I'm so close now! All that's left are the two trees to the right of the dragon, the cloud bit and the backstitching of the dragon.
Question: I've found a few patterns for Altoid tin covers. But there's no instructions on how to attach them. Do you just measure then glue, tucking in the corners?

LOL this piece is me trying to get my DH up in the morning. :) Sometimes you just need to let them sleep (it's just easier that way).

Do you have anything else lined up to do next or are you going to just keep working on GTK?

My husband would have to make that pillow for me.... He's absolutely chipper in the morning.

I've never done any Altoid tins, but I'm curious about the how-to, too.

Can't help about the Altoid tins, I don't have any idea what this is! LOL! Sorry but curious...
I'm the one who wakes up grumpy at home... And remain as such until I have drink my coffee! And, it's much more fun to stitch it than to buy it...
Lots of hugs!

I could stitch that for my Seb too!! I'm always up an hour before him and need to call and call before he finally decides to get up. But boy do I love that first hour of the morning :D

I've no idea about the Altoid tins... I'd love to make some of those pieces but we don't have Altoids in France! :( Hope someone can help you :)

I love this project! I've seen it on a lot of pillows and such, but never as a stitch project. :) It will make a cute pillow.

I would say that your idea about how to attach a project to the Altoid tin is correct. You could always use a bit of fabric on the inside to cover up the raw edges

Heehee, I love this one. It sort of describes my relationship with my computer. I love your scribblings, so I'll definitely come and visit you more often!
